 The
Haggadah is the book that tells the story of how the Jews were saved from
Egypt. It contains many legends and songs, and sometimes even pictures,
showing what happened when the Jews left Egypt. Some families read every
word in the Haggadah. Others use it as a guide for telling the story of
the Exodus. There are even some people who add their own prayers and poems
to the Haggadah, to make it especially relevant to them.
