Jews
everywhere celebrate Pesach by having seder, a festive meal to reenact the
story of the Exodus from Egypt. We sit leaning to our side, to remind us
that free people have the leisure to sit comfortably, and we eat special
foods that remind us of our slavery and freedom. Apart from the special
seder songs we sing, we read the story of the Exodus from the Haggadah.
