What is Tu Bishvat?

Bishvat has arrived - a holiday for trees."
Even though it’s winter outside, in Israel the trees are starting
to blossom and leaves are sprouting. To mark the first signs of spring
on the trees, we celebrate Tu Bishvat, the New Year of Trees.
